Use of make up Brushes....

Hii,
Today I am gonna tell you how to use make up brushes...
Foundation: A synthetic brush. Can also be used for applying cream blush.
Concealer: A narrow, synthetic brush with a slightly tapered edge.
Powder: A big, soft natural-fiber brush.
Contouring: A soft brush with a flat, angled edge. Also used for bronzing.
Blush: A soft medium-full round brush. Natural fiber is best.
Eye Shadow: A tapered, flat brush that is good for blending.
Fan Brush: A light brush that is great for highlighter. It’s also good for brushing away loose eye shadow.
Eyeliner: A narrow, angled brush for applying gel liner or shadow as liner.
Eyelash and Brow Comb: The side with the small, plastic comb is used for removing mascara clumps from lashes. The bristled side is for grooming eyebrows.
Eyebrow: A firm, angled brush used for filling in eyebrows with brow powder. Go for something with coarser bristles.
And never underestimate the power of the original makeup brush—your fingertip. Because of the heat of your skin, fingers make unbeatable blending tools. For covering under eye circles, I like to use a clean ring finger (the ring finger applies the least amount of pressure) to blend away the edges of the concealer.

How to Blend Eyeshadows

Choose three eye-shadow shades (you can do more but that’s an advanced technique) which really compliment each other, and use an eye shadow Blending Brush (see the different types below), that is to subtly blend and merge the colours into each other.

Use circular blending motion (see diagram below) with the blending brush to soften the eye shadow intensity too, particularly at the outer corners of the eye and at the crease area of the eye.

The more you blend the more the colours merge, and you might have to re-apply the eye shadow colour again if you’ve gotten carried away with blending, so if you reach a point and it looks like what you’re after — Stop Right There — because you will have to make sure you do exactly the same blending for the other eye to ensure their balanced with each other.

Simple Hair Do' The Knotted Half Updo...

You can make this casual half updo in the time it takes to tie a knot. Really! It's easy, fresh, and perfect for any day, outfit, or social gathering!

1. Take a piece of hair from each side of the face.
2. Create a knot in the back with the two pieces of hair.

3. Make one more knot so you have a double knot
4. Secure the knot with a bobby pin, crossing over the end of the knot just under the knot you created. Also secure the knot on the other side from up to down, making sure you hide the bobby pin under the knot.
Now you have a cute knotted half updo—easy peasy!

Foot care...Soft, Sandal-Ready Feet

once you reached a certain age, you became less ticklish.Apparently that should not be...

Being pedicured by beautician is just not enough. follow these small tips and get pretty, pampered and polished foot.

Step 1: Soak feet in tub or bucket. This softens up the calluses and dead skin.

Step 2: Scrub feet to exfoliate and remove dead skin, concentrate on all parts of the foot, making sure not to forget the heels and tops.

Step 3: Use a pumice stone or foot file to smooth out the calluses, it gets rid of all dry skin.

Step 4: Apply cuticle oil/cream.

Step 5: Massage feet with a rich, emollient lotion like Johnson & Johnson baby lotion or any Himalaya lotion. If you are doing this at night, you can slip on a pair of socks so that feet are extra moisturized in the morning.

Step 6: And finally Polish your toes.

SUMMER BRAID

  1. Pull two pieces from each side of your head. You’ll want to treat this like a half-up hairstyle so you’ll be pulling your sections from the front hairline/above your ears.
  2. Join them together in the back using a clear elastic.
  3. Now create a regular fishtail braid from the pony you just made.
  4. Tie it off at the bottom using another clear elastic.
  5. Now carefully cut the elastic out at the top. Get someone to help if you need to so you don’t cut your hair.
  6. Sprinkle a little texturizing hair powder on your braid!  you can find it on any online store.
  7. Tap the powder into the braid and gently tug at your braid to give it some texture and volume!
  8. Now you’re simply going to take the braid and twist it over.
  9. Slide a large bobbypin into the base where you twisted the braid. This will keep it flipped and create a twisted look. I didn’t photograph this part, but you should wrap the bottom elastic with a tiny piece of hair and secure it with a bobby pin, or use one that matches your exact color.

5 simple steps to healthy nails

Tired of keeping your hands down to hide those stubby nails? Want long and strong nails that you can play with?

Follow these simple tricks to get healthy nails:

•    Sanitize

The most important part of nail care is maintaining hygiene. Wash your hands before and after every meal, or whenever the need be. Use an antiseptic liquid for the same.

•    Moisturize

Follow rinsing with a moisturizing lotion. Yes, nails are dry but the cuticles need moisturizing to stay hydrated and keep the nails glued to the nail bed.

•    Clip and buff

Grow your nails long if you want to keep women at bay. Some things only suit the fairer sex and long nails are one of them. Short, well shaped, dirt free nails look so perfect on a man. You can never go wrong with this statement.

•    Maintain healthy habits

Some people have a habit of biting their nails when nervous. It's a very bad habit for it not only disfigures them but also makes way for infections to breed.

•    Follow a healthy diet

Brittle and dry nails require good intake of Vitamin A and calcium. Products like carrot, cheese and almonds are advisable.
