Mistakes which can ruin your hair

You love your tresses and you take care of them like your most prized possession, don’t you?
Well, despite all your efforts, there are instances when you do things which can irrevocably damage your hair.
Here, five things you should never do to your hair.
Take a look.
-Over-shampooing strips natural oils from the hair and scalp, leading to dry, brittle hair. Even with long hair, a nickel-sized amount of shampoo is enough. Hair should not be shampooed every day. If you have an oily scalp that seems to demand daily shampoo, you can put your hair in a loose bun, and wash only your scalp. Or, massage your scalp under the water between washings.
-Towel turban is actually bad for wet hair. Wet hair should be gently squeezed with the towel, or even dried with an old tee-shirt. Wringing or rubbing your hair with the towel will only encourage frizz and breakage.
-Never brush hair when wet. Wet hair does not have the tensile strength of dry hair, and can very easily snap when submitted to the stress of hairbrushes and combs. Ideally, allow your hair to dry before you brush it.
-Wearing hair in a tight pony tail or bun for long periods is very hard on your scalp, and causes stress to hair. Tight hair ties pull on the hair follicles, and metal hair clips often pull hairs out when removed.
-Aging hair should never be dyed or heat treated, and really does not appreciate styling products. Older locks should be handled reverentially.

Home remedies to remove tanning in 1 month

If sunscreens have failed to yield their magic on your skin and the harsh summer heat has taken a toll on your skin, worry no more, you can easily get rid of the tanned look.

Here’s what you can do.
-Scrubbing is a great way to exfoliate the dead skin and get a natural glow. Try to exfoliate the skin by using a paste of gram flour and water/milk. Leave on the face of tanned area upto 20 minutes and wash it gently with cold water.
-You can apply milk cream on your face and leave it overnight and then wash your face in the morning. In this way, the skin gets enough moisture and feels rejuvenated. The milk cream does not only remove the carbonic particles but also causes skin whitening.  It  helps the layer of the skin that is darkened become lighter. You can continue this therapy daily and it does not create any side effect.
-You can prepare a mixture of natural substances such as orange juice, water and cucumber juice and then apply the mixture to your face. Apply it on your face like a mask. Because of the citric content in the orange juice, the cooling effect of the cucumber juice acts as a great tan remover.
-Add a teaspoonful of turmeric powder to 1 tablespoon milk. You can also add fresh orange juice to this mixture. Apply it to the face and let it dry. Then you can wash your face with cool water.
-Soak a cotton pad in fresh coconut water and dab it all over your face and neck, may be even hands. Give gentle strokes and allow it to penetrate into your skin pores and then wash it off with cold water. This solution can be used daily to get better and lasting results.

Beware: 4 food items that cause ageing

Everything you eat shows on your face.
In case you haven’t noticed, there are days when you wake up with a bloated face and saggy eyelids. It is a mere reflection of the food consumed by you and the effect it is having on your health.
We bring to you foods which can make you look old. Avoid them.
-Salt
Watch that salty intake! Too much sodium can lead to high blood pressure, which can weaken the skin by affecting collagen production. This can cause wrinkles, especially in thin-skinned areas, like around your eyes, as well as puffiness.
-Sugar
Sugar affects your skin in many different ways, one of these being inflammation. When your blood sugar levels spike, your body becomes inflamed, and this inflammation affects all the organs, affecting your skin tone and texture. Opt for smaller amounts of fruit instead, which will satisfy that sweet tooth, but avoid the overload that ages and damages skin.
-Coffee
Coffee not only stains your teeth, darkening the shiny pearly whites of your younger years, but it also dehydrates your body, causing skin to dry out and look less youthfully plump.
-Alcohol
It will leave you puffy and bloated and may also have the unfortunate consequence of leaving you reaching for those salty bar snacks such as peanuts, processed meats and pretzels, which as we already know, are extremely bad for your skin!

Allow the mixture to remain on the test area for 24 hours to determine if you develop an allergic skin reaction to the product.

Say No to Hair Fall

We all love healthy and silky hair and we all know that if you don’t care your hair you might start losing the look and the beautiful even if you were born with the healthiest and the most beautiful hair and if you think that you are losing the shine and the look of your hair and you do not actually know what you suppose to do to get your beautiful healthy hair back then here is a small list of things you need to take here are some tips for you to get healthier hair.
  • Don't comb your hair when it is wet since this increases the chances of breakage. Wait for your tresses to dry before you brush them.
  • Be gentle while towel-drying your hair. Rubbing your hair vigorously can lead to unwanted breakage.
  • Use a wide-toothed comb since it gently detangles your hair and reduces the risk of breakage while combing.
  •  Clean your hair brush and comb regularly. Dirt tends to collect on them, and this can also lead to hair fall.
  •  Oil your hair regularly and indulge in a hot oil treatment once a week to keep your scalp healthy. This will keep you from losing hair.
  •  Your shampoo may be harsh on your hair, so try switching to a more gentle shampoo. Chemicals can strip your scalp of its natural oil, leading to breakage.
  • Don't tie your hair tightly or style it often. Products can damage your hair and certain hairstyles can add a lot of strain to your roots. Also, avoid using elastic or rubber bands.
  • A balanced diet is key to healthy hair. Hair fall could be a sign that your body is not getting the nourishment it needs, so consume proteins and food rich in iron, zinc, vitamins A, B complex, C, E, and Omega-3 fatty acids.
